As a Partner, David has over 20 years of extensive experience in personal, partnership, corporate, trust, estate and gift tax preparation and planning. 

Prior to joining the firm in 1994, David graduated in 1989 from Sacred Heart University and has worked with several local CPA firms throughout Fairfield County.   At R. L. DePanfilis & Company he has utilized his experience to manage tax engagements for individuals and a variety of industries.  

He is equally knowledgeable and proficient in the area of IRS and state tax audit representation. He is an active member of the American Institute of Public Accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, CSCPA Trust, Estate & Gift Taxation Committee, Nutmeg Group CPAs Technology Committee and past member of CSCPA Relations with Secondary Schools.  All his experience has enabled him to serve as treasurer and member of the board of directors for many civic and charitable organizations as Milford International Little League, Pilgrim Pines Conference Center, Milford Republican Town Committee, Human Services Council and Southern Connecticut Christian Athletic League.
